Puesta del Sol (sunset)

Puesta del Sol which means sunset. It is the counter part of Salida del Sol (sunrise) that both are inspired by Elie Saab's creations. The sun sets at the western hemisphere that this explains that the gown itself is partially western inspired. The flower shaped maple leaves as the blossom of the dress symbolizes Canadian beauty and the diagonal lines in the chest is inspired from the United Kingdom flag which symbolizes unity. The beauty of the sunset is transformed into a fancy gown. Nature has it all to vary your authentic works.

Demeter's evergreen gown

The Spring gown of my seasonal gowns. The inspiration of this gown comes from the Greek Goddess Demeter. Demeter as the Goddess of harvest and agriculture makes my inspired object broad and complex . To make it specific I seek for green leafy plants that suits the characteristics of Demeter. My best candidate was the rice but later I know that its too rigid and tacky. I wanted my design to have a flamboyant effect and gracious form of the model. The leafy vegetable that co-insides perfectly from my ideas was the lettuce vegetable.
Shadows of Violets ( Dusk)

The long gown is inspired by the flower viola (violets) and it is the sequel of golden afternoon that I called it the dusk of violets or shadows of violets. The deeper perspective of this gown is it portrays the beauty of the dusk with the harmony of the majestic violets. The gown itself is divided with symbolic parts. The neck of the gown serves as the descending sunset while the shoulders and the breast are the mountain of flower fields. The upper half of the gown (body) shows as the body of water reflecting the late sunset while the upper bottom of the gown portrays as the flower field of violets. The outmost bottom part is the scenery of silhouettes of violas emerging from the faded beauty of the dusk. i designed this gown with symbolic meaning to make its beauty profound and dramatic.
Hibiscus Rosa Sinensis ( Gumamela Flower)

The gown is not only inspired from a gumamela flower itself but incorporated by the inspiration of Disney Princess Aurora. At first I was looking for a flower that best suits the characteristics of Aurora. My first candidate was the prickly rose since aurora was pricked to a death like sleep. But the petals don't suit the gloomy character of aurora. For a little researching later I know that gumamela flowers are ought to be called sleeping beauty for it can only bloom for 24 hours then dies afterwards. The poise of the petal goes soothingly by the lady like character of Aurora that makes it perfect for this illustration.

Bountiful Nature

Bountiful Nature
It is a long gown inspired by the abundance of nature. It is the alternative gown of Demeter's ever green gown which somehow I consider this as the gown of spring season. The enthusiastic flow of the gown reflects the grace of nature that flourish during spring season and the middle portion of the gown portrays the heart of enduring growth of the spring season.

Golden Afternoon

Golden Afternoon

This is inspired by the painting of Mulliga K's Flower Fields which is somehow I named my illustration the golden afternoon. The warmth and grace of the painting inspires me to trigger the idea of transforming its magnificent image into a peculiar gown. I had difficulties of organizing my ideas to make the gown be relatively appeared like the painting. My first attempt was horrendous for the gown seems enormous and somewhat a exaggerated transformation of the painting. What i did is I lessen its fluffy size and revising its form with graceful flares. The lower gown is covered by a flower formed skirt in the purpose of breaking the ordinary figure of the gown. It is monotonous if I draw the flowers in the same size so I varied the flowers in different colors, sizes, and forms to enhance the gradual appearance of the gown. The Golden afternoon reflects the memory of long goodbyes and I think this is what the painting trying to portray. The gown itself has a significant meaning..it portrays the jar of beautiful memories and the serenity of long goodbyes.

Birds' Paradise

Birds' Paradise
The Bird's Paradise is a Brazilian inspired long gown. It is a fashion illustration that reflects the essence of the tropical rain forest. The harmony of the gradient colors are symbols of the growing diversity of nature. This illustration is in the purpose of expressing passion of nature in a flamboyant way.
